Just thought I'd share this from a previous Thermoworks sale. Last big one, I bought a Smoke for my grill. Just got back from the east coast trip yesterday so we went to the store this morning. We got something out of our vertical freezer in the garage for breakfast and evidentally, something shifted inside so the door opened up slightly. We went to the store only to return to the freezer alarm in full volume. I got the Smoke out and put the probe inside. Fortunately, for us, the temps started dropping to below freezing. The Smoke saved us from a lot of headaches by diagnosing the freezer was working ok. Worst case, some of the items will have some frost inside, since the temps started in the high 30's before dropping. Thermoworks MK4 & Smoke have been the best purchases I made this summer!
