Button problem

I just finished my build, but after loading the software and testing things I am having a problem with the button. Push left and scrolls through the menu, right nothing, up nothing, down nothing, and press to select nothing. I do not see how it can be installed incorrectly with the positioning if the pins. Help please...??? Any ideas? Thank you.

You're 100% certain that you do have the switch installed correctly ie: not upside down? It's been done before.

Also, you have the correct resistors in the correct slots? Those are the 4 beside the button ( 680, 4700, 2200, 390 )
 
Which version HM have you build? I had problems similar problems with a version 4.1 board with the latest two versions of the AVR software. I guess this has something to do with the higher switching frequency of the blower output. The board works fine with the June 12 2014 version of the AVR software.
 
Thank you Steve_M. It was actually 1k/10k resistors reversed...next to the ATmega328P.

Thanks Peter for the response. Fortunately did not go past the resistors.
