butterflying a chicken

Attempted butterflying a couple chickens to smoke tonight- have always smoked whole in the past. The process was fairly quick/easy with the "how to" video. I also made a basic #5 bbq sauce with a few variations. I'm guessing the advantage to butterfly a chicken is for faster cooking time and seasoning purposes- possibly get a more even cook. I'm plannng on serving with yellow rice and a garden salad. It just can't get any better then this- was off work today and got grass cut early so I can now sit back and relax- enjoy and drink a few brews! I wish everyone here a safe, enjoyable, happy labor day weekend.

Doug,...I haven"t cut the grass in over a month now. It's just been too dry here in north centeral Ohio. I do kinda miss it. Thats when I do my best Q thinkin'!
