I am smoking up a bunch of ribs for Christmas dinner, but we will be having a guest that has a severe reaction to MSG.
Has anyone tried making the rub without the Accent (MSG), and did it affect the flavor?
I imagine that it would not cause a huge change, but figured it doesn't hurt to ask.
