BRITU quick question about the sauce...

should that KCmasterpiece/honey sauce be put on the stove or will it mix up allright without being heated?? Ribs should be coming off in an hour...

Ron, not sure which way is right but we did ours without heating on the stove and it seemed fine. Good luck!
 
I do it cold. I also throw a tablespoon of the Britu rub in. I only use 1/2 the salt that the BRITU recipe cals for though.
 
Yeah, the BRITU rub is a little salty. I used it on something the weekend after I did my first batch of BRITU ribs, didn't sauce. Man the salt. Added a sweet BBQ sauce and it was fine. I don't always want a sauce, so I've cut back on the salt in the rub recipe. I can always salt the meat if I want to.
