Brisket price/lb.?

Just curious. I paid 4.29/lb for brisket this week at my local old school grocery store with 50s era meat counter. I've seen guys quoting less than half that on here. What'd you folks pay?

I paid 1.70 lb for an IBP choice cut from a wholesale restaurant supply.

I paid 1.65 for a choice cut 2 weeks ago from Sam's.

Both were about 11 lb packers.

$0.97 per lb for a USDA Choice packer at the local HEB for the holiday weekend. I have a 13 pounder that has been on for 12 hours now.

Brisket here in ATL area is over $3/lb. I paid $3.99/lb for a flat recently at Publix. Havent checked Costco in awhile.

97 cents/lbs. at Kroger here in Sugar Land although they limit you to one per visit. Most major holidays you can get them for just under a dollar per pound.

paid $2.99 for a brisket cut right off the cow at my butcher. My butcher trimmed it really nice too!
