I got her all put together, and decided to try a new recipe.
Not something you'd get all excited about on a gas grill, but this was a good test of the temperature holding abilities of the grill.
It is a beer bread recipe that I got from a friend. I'm going to cut the recipe down by a third so it looks better in my clay loaf pan, but it cooked well and tasted great.

Mark;
That looks "good enough to eat" LOL! Good job! That is truly "thinking outside the box". A number of us bake pizza on the grill so bread is not so far off after all, is it?

Keep on smokin',

Thanks for the kind words. I'm always telling the people I work with that if you can cook it in the oven I can grill it.
So I'm always looking for new ideas. I just looked at the feed for the bacon doughnuts. I think that may be my next try. I have a few friends that think Jalapenos are to hot, so I'm going to surprise them with something they can enjoy with the popper crowd.
