Breaking in my recent additions...

My Red Head Silver 1000 B gets to spin a yard bird.

I had to clearance the rotisserie notch on the right side of the cookbox so the lid would close.

And the one touch platinum needed a torching to clean the grill.




And it was not charcoal fluid, just a few ounces of canola oil on the hot coals to roast the rust off the grate

Kettle will get boneless skinless thighs marinated in garlic, soy, worchestershire, red wine vinegar and Montreal chicken seasoning.

On the 1000 roti, High, off, med runs about 375 if I trust the lid thermometer.

High off low runs about (edit) 350.

High off High runs about 400.

That's better. Now I can go inside and watch temps.
