2nd post! Breakfast was mandatory coming up in our house, after marrying and starting a family of my own, I continued the breakfast tradition but with a twist, this is Weber grilled bacon!

Down goes a few strips of locally sourced bacon topped with my go-to seasoning (light dusting of steak rub) and off to the Weber Performer 22.5.

After lighting 30-40 Kingsford blue bag charcoal briquettes I spread those evenly across the grate to create even heat distribution inside the Kettle. Dome lid temp indicated 275-290 which was perfect for this cook. I added more bacon during the cook as the slices began to shrink94E7848A-7DF0-464F-AF34-F819D19EFB28.jpeg
8-11 minutes is all the cooking time needed here, pulled and let drain for a few minutes, then served.

Weber Performer Kettle Grilled bacon!

Looks great! My kids got me a CI griddle for Christmas. We got it out and cooked bacon and sausage first, then pancake on the Weber kettle this past Saturday morning. I didn't get any pictures as it was a learning process, the first time I did it, and the 7 year old and the 11 year wanted in to help. More work then in the house for breakfast, but great experience and great food.

Thanks, nothing like breakfast on the grill especially when the kids play a part. My daughter scrambled the eggs while the Mrs made her version of homemade biscuits.
