Boosting humidity

I'm guessing it's not a huge deal, but I have some space that, from a temperature perspective, is great for aging some charcuterie. I'd like to boost the humidity, though. Currently in the mid-40s to low-50's%. I was targeting 60%.

Bucket of water? Common electric humidifier?
 
How large is the space?

I have a small enclosed porch, I boost the humidity with either damp hanging towels or a humidifier.

Sounds very similar. We have concrete steps up to a concrete porch. Underneath that is a cellar accessible in our basement, e.g., keep wine there, Christmas decorations.
