I have been reading Stuart Woods STONE BARRINGTON series and would love to see them as a weekly TV show.

The Pendergast series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Childs. What a character and what a series!

Some of my favorite authors. If you liked the Any Carpenter character, give the Myron Bolitar character by Harllan Coben a shot. Start at the beginning here too With "Deal Breaker" but could read as stand alone too.
