bob gibson's white sauce for chicken - served on the side too?

Hi,

We've really been enjoying bob gibson's white sauce for smoked chicken. The recipe I have says to dunk the chicken in the sauce and place it on a rack to let the excess sauce drip off.

We like the sauce so much that we occassionally dip the chicken in the sauce as we're eating it. Is this the way its served at Gibsons? (an initial dunk with more sauce on the side for dipping?)

Hey Jeff,

I happened to see an interview with Chris Lilly here. In this particular instance he dunked the chicken in the sauce, (note the picture) however, I don't know if that is how they serve it at Gibson's. Sound good either way!

thanks...I was using the recipe from Peace, Love and BBQ and its different from your link. Looking forward to trying the one from Lilly.
