Black Pepper Order

I buy both the extra bold and the Tellicherry. I have not yet tried their new Sarawak black and would likely do so. I have bought their Sarawak white for years. Nothing beats it. (I use much more white pepper than I do black.)

Dumb follow up question...would there be a significant difference between McCormick's Tellicherry (fresh from a vol. seller) and Penzeys?

Hardly dumb. The difference, if any, would likely be the result of specific source (and how the corns are processed there), storage post processing, shipping, and storage here. It is possible that difference(s) could be significant, should enough of the variables be different, but no way to know without testing.

Steve, I usually always buy my corns from Penzey's or World Spice. On my last order from WS I forgot to order some Tellicherry.

So while walking through Costco last week on a borrowed card,

I spot large jars of Tellicherry corns on the shelf, Kirkland/Costco Brand. I put one in the cart, and they are fine. A 14.1 oz jar was $3.99

Label says packed in Canada.
