Come on! You KNEW I would find something in the C.B I've been reading that I would want to share here. Well, here it is. :giggle: (and less than 3 minutes after I printed it out, DH came home from the store with a bag of frozen mango's, I swear.)

Big-Time Mango Barbecue Sauce

2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 TB. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 cup bourbon
1/2 tsp. habanero hot sauce (optional)
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground allspice

1. Place the mango slices in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
2. Combine the puree and all the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce the heat and simmer over medium-low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. If prepared ahead of time, refrigerate, and reheat before using.
4. Really good on pork and chicken. Yield: 2 1/2 cups
