Beyond Turkey & Sides, what other main course do you serve? ( if any )


 
Just to be clear, I meant another protein to go along with turkey.
I do 3 turkeys every year, one traditionally stuffed in the indoor appliance and one either kettle cooked or WSM'ed and the last one infrared fried on the Big Easy.
I cook for a crowd that loves taking leftovers home:)

I try to find some interesting sausages as an additional meat protein, if at all possible.

this year I would like to try some more kinds from Corridor Sausage, in the Eastern Market area, downtown Detroit.
Full disclosure: i do not have any relationship with them, i just liked their pork Apple & Sage sausages, grilled some a few weeks ago for a wine dinner/tasting.
 
I am thinking of making ribs for this Thanksgiving, in addition to the turkey. We eat turkey for tradition, but to be honest it's not anyone's favorite. I figure why not serve 6 racks of ribs cut into individuals as well?
