Best way to purchase Wicked Good...

Any suggestions on the cheapest way to purchase WG charcoal?
I live in Dallas and according to the WB web site the only Tx distributor is near Houston.

The shipping charges are nearly equal to the product cost and that puts it out of my price range.

Tnx,

Russ

Russ,

Check with local restaurant supply houses. They won't have wicked good, but they'll usually have other quality lumps.

Wicked Good is South American, and is generally milder than US brands such as B&B or Royal Oak.

I switch off and use different brands...and am always satisfied as long as I get a long burn out of it.

Not-for-nothin but...

Lets not forget about Comp-K. I've been using it for a year & a half now and I love it. I had to use some Blue-Bag the other day, and I was just really put off by the difference. It's totally night & day.

Russ,

I live in N. Houston, and the distributor charged approx. $25 per 22lb. bag of lump. They didn't have the brickets when I was there. After I figured my time and gas, I could of stayed home and had it shipped for about the same costs. I hope to give the WG lump a try over the News Year weekend.
