Beer can Turkey!

I'm a big fan of Beer Can Chicken. I noticed they sell a Beer can Turkey holder. Has anyone tried this?
I'd like to give it a go on my WSM this thanksgiving. Thanks.....

For beer can turkey, you would probably have to use one of the large cans of Fosters.

I made one for Christmas last year and I used one of those large pineapple juice cans with some of my rub in it. That was the best turkey I have ever done

IMHO its not the beer, its the fact that the bird is vertical - only way to cook a whole fowl!

I used a 12 pound turkey and a the big Foster's beer can. It worked just as well as the chicken with regular sized beer cans. Beer can anything rocks. I've even seen game hens on the small pineapple juice cans. Never used the specially designed holders though, but I'm sure it will work just as well.
