I have a Weber 22.5 one-touch and unfortunately the distance from the top grate to the top of the dome won't accommodate a beer-can chicken. Any ideas on a feasible alternative would be appreciated. --Dave Ellison
Try taking the cooking grate off and setting the can chicken on the charcoal grate. Keep your coals way off to one side. Might set the chicken in a small foil pan when you set em on the charcoal grate....do not want any chance of a grease fire.
I too have done BCC on my OTS. I use to have those beer can holders, but I found that it was too tall to use on the OTS. I simply use the beer can and chicken legs as a tripod and cook away!
