Been away for awhile

I have been checking in every now and then but due to life circumstances haven’t really been smoking a lot. My daughter got married last October and I was asked to do the rehearsal dinner (I know not my responsibility but I got paid). I made brisket, pulled pork, chicken and all the fixings. I’m sure everyone knows about MAC.bids, It is an Amazon returns auction (bad bad bad). I recently scored these deals:

Only fire pizza kit $21
Weber Smokey Joe $6 (nobody bided on it)

I only have one kettle, so if I wanted to make wings with the vortex and have pizza I needed another kettle . Found a kettle for $80.

Last but not least I was in Amish Country yesterday and a church had roadside chicken dinners for donation only (I donated generously)

Your work for the wedding is another fine gesture, I’m glad you had fun and found a second kettle for a reasonable sum.

yes, I live 2 miles from there. They are really building it up with restaurants and planning an indoor water park . I grew up in Massillon and everyone knows Football is king around here. Look up the history of Massillon vs Canton McKinley
