Beef ribs already cut

I was in my local Supermarket yesterday and noticed that they had a couple of packs of Beef back ribs, which is a pretty rare find around here. Problem was they were already cut into individual bones. Has anyone ever tried smoking them already cut up on the WSM? Any difference in cooking methods or times?

i would push em together and use some pure cotten cooking twine to lightly bind em together to keep the edges from burning. basically recreate the rack of ribs. the problem you will face is too little mass if they arent together to absorb the heat as a whole. pork would be more forgiving but beef ribs take longer to cook to become tender.

least that is what i would try. others may have a different opinion.
