Beef prices are on the rise!

Talk to my local butcher this week, and he said that beef prices will rise 20% by the end of the year. Buy your beef now before you go vegetarian. I will never go vegetarian! The beef industry needs to get a hold of these prices before they get any higher. On the lighter side of things, pork is going down and poultry will stay the same according to my butcher.

I hear you. Brisket is now $3.68 a lb at Walmart.

In June I was paying $7.99lb for beautiful New York steaks at Costco, yesterday they were $9.99lb. My son who is a meat cutter in MN is telling me to get used to eating a lot of chicken and pork because beef is going out of sight.
