Beat up Browny needs help

It's time to get around to fixing this old browny. I remember reading I can use washers to fix the wholes and remount the handle. I need a picture from someone out there that has done this. Any other ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

You'll need 4 SS Fender Washers with an outside diameter larger than the rusted out holes on the lid. pdf file on sizes here.(go with the 1/4" bolt size)
Put one on the inside and one on the outside at each hole,drill a 9/32" hole on each side of the handle, assemble w/ two 1/4"-20 x5/8" SS bolts and nuts. You could add a 1/4"SS washer at the handle also for more strength.
