I get tired of the trash talking and BS, but I continue to suffer through it for the bits of cooking info.
 
I watched it, and notice that Myron is switching his style of smoking. Not so much high heat anymore! More in the smoking range, I would say. Did you see that brisket that Myron turned in? That thing was way over done. IMO
 
Saw it, and will probably watch, but...honestly?

I would find the show far more enjoyable if they got away from the Myron Mixon's of the world and focused on the little guys. Walk around with the camera and find 3 or 5 people to watch for the show just to see how they do. I get tired of seeing (and hearing) the same people over and over, either as a judge or a contestant. If Myron never won another contest in his life it wouldn't matter a bit, but it'd matter huge if Average Joe Smoker whipped Myron's butt. Just sayin'.
 
I agree with ya T on the fact that is all about a select few and they don't show the other 55 people in the competition. I think that Myron Mixon is overrated. Yes he has won a ton, but you don't have to be so sarcastic when speaking to others and yes Ryan I felt his brisket was way over cooked.
