BBQ Gaskets Kettle kit - worth it?

I put the WSM kit on my smoker and have noticed the difference already in a could smokes, definitely gave me more control. I just got my Kettle, but it seems to seal up pretty tight when I close the dampers. I do notice some smoke coming out around the lip of the lid, but not nearly as much as my WSM did before. Anyone using it on their Kettle? Just looking for feedback.

I have never felt the need for it. Some leakage is to be expected.

Things will tighten up even more with use so, save the money for meats and beer!

I purchased the gaskets from LavaLock. Noticed an immediate difference and well worth the money. Had enough to do the WSM 18, the door and OTG performer and still had some leftover.

I use a CyberQ and I find it better to stop the leaks to enable the ATC to do its job.
