So Tuesday is my boy’s 14th birthday and we will be going out for dinner so I asked him, “anything special you would like for dinner tonight?” and he said, “yes some BBQ chicken breasts and corn on the cob”. With that said, I was off to the store to pick up the chicken. While I was cruising the isle’s, I came upon a marinade called Caribbean Spice made buy All Spice Cafe, they say on the label, “a delicious and spicy blend of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, garlic and onion” I thought it was very good. I added the juice of a lemon and some evoo and let them sit in the fridge all day, rotating every helf hour or so. In addition to the corn, my wife made a killer broccoli slaw salad with a spicy Asian peanut dressing, yum..yum. It was hotter then @#%^ here so I had to have a few beers and a few dips in the pool while I was cooking. The dinner turned out great and what we didn’t eat, I pulled sealed in my Food Saver for when we make BBQ chicken pizza. Oh and I also tossed on some sausages, we ate a few but the rest I sealed and froze for later.
