Hello, I was watching one of these Food Network "best of BBQ joints" shows. This one particular guy in Kansas City...his rub seemed really interesting. He said he bakes the brown sugar before adding it to the rub. It looked like the brown sugar was finer because of this.
Has anyone tried this? Does it provide a slightly different taste? Would I notice the flavor or this just a personal preference kind of thing?
