Bad Kingsford?

Has any one else ran into a bad batch of kingsford charcoal? I bought a twin pack at Home Depot and used one of the bags last weekend with no problem. Started a new bag this morning and couldn't get the temp above 219.
After stirring,adding more,stirring more it finally came up to top out at 262.It took me three hours to get it there.
I think I just got a bad bag,what do you think?

I, too, have had disappointing results with certain batches of Kingsford charcoal. It seems to work if you force it, but is not very reliable. When it works, it works great. But, sometimes, it is pretty iffy. I get mine from similar twin packs at Costco. Maybe it's moist or something, but, nevertheless, I never had this trouble with lump charcoal.
