Babybacks for dinner

Did a small rack of baby backs I got from HEB last night. They were on sale and it was about a 2.5 lb rack. Did a mustard slather and rubbed with Plowboys Bovine Bold. I cooked these indirect with cherry smoke for about 75 minutes then rested them in foil for about 30 minutes. For high heat ribs these came out pretty good! I was experimenting with high heat and was pleased with the results. Threw on some cheese sausage for fun

Over mothers day, I did some high heat ribs also. This was the second time for me. The first was about 2 years ago. Anyway, next time try right over the coals, about 20 min a side. I did 3 racks this way, they turned out nice an chewy. Its another nice little trick to have when you start to run outta time.

Cool! I love these when it is cold outside. BB's turn out nice with high heat.... Especially meaty ones like these.

Great job. I like the different flavor too.
