going to smoke some bb on Wednesday that I purchased at Sam's Club, however today when I was at Target I saw HORMEL Pork Loin Back Ribs on sale for $1.79 cents per pound, so I picked up 6 racks. Has anyone every tried this, If someone can comment on their experience with them I am going to pick up a whole lot more. They normally sell for $3.99 a lb.

Chances are they are enhanced.......which unfortunately I don't like at all. Once cooked they taste like ham lollipops....

If they state 'Always Tender' they ARE enhanced. Omit any salt from your rub, as they will contain a good amount of salt through the solution that has been added. They will also cook a bit faster than a fresh rack of ribs.

I'm aware of the sale but I don't think there are any Target stores in Los Angeles with a meat dept unless I drive 100 miles out in the middle of the desert to a Super Target store.

Yea, they say always tender on them, damn I should of looked closer, I knew it was too good to be true. Looks like I will have to smoke them for my relatives, instead of my friends. Nothing worse than a "ham lollipop."
