about a month ago I bought some babyback rib racks and froze them for later. I *thought* removed the membrane from just one rack, then ran out of time and didn't on the other two. so I thawed them out, and now seem to have two racks without membranes. if I cannot seem to find the membrane, should I just go ahead and smoke 'em, or keep looking 'till I find it, because I *don't* want to try and eat it?

thanks.

Sometimes BB don't have the membrane on them. If it's not there and you try too hard, you'll end up pulling the meat. I would just go ahead and cook, but if you're bothered you could score the bone side of the BB in case you've missed the membrane.
