Babies since Thursday

So daughter and partner went to NY. We have grandson and the 2 babies. IDK how we did it when we were younger. I am exhausted. They go back on Tuesday. But those little monsters are so darn cute

My boys are 9 and 12 now, growing fast! It would be amazing to one day baby sit their kids.

Melts my heart, Larry. This is what life is all about...family. My 40-something daughters are getting together for birthdays next month (born 1 day and 3 years apart) and have plans to re-visit some of their favorite places from their childhood.

The exhaustion is a good kind of exhaustion...one of my daughters bought the house next door and we were both out in the yard this afternoon trying to divert some of the flood of water from the recent rains onto our side of the fence where we have drainage. So far, so good.

When my grandchildren were that age, it was amazing how dead exhausted I was by the time they left! Now, they are 17 and 21, not as much chasing to keep them out of the street but, they will keep going on a walk longer than I can that’s for sure!
