I bought the auber. More affordable, seems pretty solid, too. So far, I'm pretty happy.

The DigiQ seems like it might be more 'user friendly', but the auber is really easy to use as well.

I have an auber for a little over 2 years and have been very happy with it. It holds a temp very solid on both my 18.5 and 22 WSMs. I've had to replace the spring that holds the fan to the smoker and the temperature probe once each. The spring went bad from when I took it off each time and the legs would spring back against the metal on the blower... the wire on the temp probe broke off but that was probably due to me snatching it off the grill grate by the wire repeatedly when it was hot. Not sure if the more pricey units don't have these type of problems but they cost more than double.
