ARGH! Defeective from the factory!

I just went to put together my new WSM and first I noticed that the bottom part of the body (with the three vents) had a poor paint job. The paint ran into a big clump on the inside, and the rim had a spot with no paint whatsoever. The middle part had a dent on the rim and no paint, and paint was flaking off the top part. Lastly, the one rack was pretty scratched up. I was pretty disappointed. This is my third Weber grill and I never had problems with the other two.

Kudos to Weber, though, for top notch quality service. I told them the problem and all new parts are being sent out, no questions asked. What a change from normally unresponsive companies!

I'm with you Erik, Weber has the best customer service.

The WSM is my second Weber and they will always go the extra mile to make sure everything is to the customer's satisfaction.

When anyone asks what type of grill or smoker they should buy...I never hesitate, Weber!
