Any luck doing wings the day before?

I want to take a large batch of wings to a Superbowl party, but will be pressed for time on Sunday to do it all. Has anyone had any luck cooking these the day before? I really want to do them on the WSM, not fry them. Could they be 'par' cooked on the WSM Saturday and finished in the oven Sunday?
 
i would skip the par boiling. IMO par boiling leads to dry overcooked chicken whether you finish them off in the oven or on a grill. how about baking all of them on saturday - dont overcook - and rewarming them at your party.
 
I probably will do that (rewarming at party). I figure primarily cooking them out on the WSM will give them a good smoke flavor and the oven finish will help with the skin. There was an old thread that spoke of par cooking by boiling the wings... I didn't really want to go that route either. Thanks!
