Annual clean up

Got all the siblings all cleaned up for their winter stay in the garage today.
It’s a bit early but 3 or 4 weeks or so isn’t going to hurt anything, and I am off work this week. We have had snow in November, these guys here from Manitoba and Alberta can verify our winter awesomeness. So getting it out of the way is okay, they still get used all winter long.
Used Weber exterior cleaner, most of the bbq items are shiny like new, just not all the lid on the performer which is my work horse.
Can I expect it to come just like new again or is it like an automobile, where they just start to go over time?
If so what makes this easier?
E6 is shiny still and both sides of the performer lid.......can you tell which side get the thermo probe? ;)

is the exterior cleaner better than using Dawn dish soap in hot water? i'm readying to clean my E6 and have been asking on the boards what people like and use. to me it looks like a need a degreaser for the exterior. i bought plastic pastry scraper for the interior of the grill. the gates are not problem for me as they scrape off and hot water on a towel when the grates are hot works well.

if you can, please post of pic of the ingredients in the exterior cleaner too. i'd like to see what the secret sauce is. thx.
