So I have been thinking about getting an ATC for my Weber 18.5 bullet. Balked at the price. Finally got an award from work, but you can only turn it into an Amazon, Lowes ... gift card. Can not find the Stoker or BBQ Guru DIGIQ on Amazon. Dang! I was very happy, for about a minute.

Don't know about Guru, but Stoker is only available from Rocks BBQ (unless you buy a used unit from an individual).

Sell your gift card and put the cash toward your ATC.

I've sold gift cards on eBay for up to 95% of their face value.

We get gift cards from our credit card issuer after accumulating so many "points". I always get a WalMart card because I can buy food there (and use it at Sam's Club, too). If you have that option, you could justify using the card to buy your regular groceries, and then divert the equivalent cash to buy your ATC.
