Saw this "thing" on a U-Tube video the other day. Did a little research and found out who makes it and what it actually is. I already have a Slow-N-Sear Plus that I use a bunch for indirect cooks on my Performer. I have been putting down aluminum foil with a catch pan on top. This Stainless Steel pan is custom designed for the exact purpose, plus it can be used as a flat top griddle if needed. Has anyone purchased one of these, and what are your thoughts about it? I purchased that and am very happy with it. Like many tools/accessories it is not necessary but I am glad I have it. Saves on foil or if you choose you can foil it and then that makes for easy clean up. I do believe it also helps direct the air draft towards the slow n sear making for a better circulation of heat. I have used it as a griddle one time and it worked fine but I have a sizzle-que that I use for griddle purposes.
