Accidentally left top vent closed for first 30 min, how screwed am I?

Smoking 4 butts this morning, in the dark. After 30 minutes I see my smoker temp not climbing enough. Went out to realize I never opened the top vent! Smoke was still coming out from under the lid, but all in all have I compromised my meat severely?
 
One more for no worries. In-fact in the ceramic world that's called a "dwell." I've done it many times with my ceramic to keep something warm, or to finish something with just the heat in the ceramic walls. Other than the third eye my son has everything good.
