not sure where to put this so starting here.

like many accessories such as spatulas and such, many come with a loop of leather or somewthing similar.
many of these break off. i've tried differant things to replace those but i'm not satisfied.
looking for leather is a pain and pricy. so last week i'm at the second hand store and i'm just wheeling around
when i noticed something and my dim bulb went off. i saw a belt that was woven with leather strips.
i found one that had nice sized strips. so i got it and unwove it and now i have a lifetime of leather to make
loops for anything i need to make them for. cost was under $2.

Have you looked in sporting goods. Get the rawhide lacing they use on ball gloves

I replaced mine with black zip ties. I imagine your fix is better looking!

FYI, you can find leather cord at Michaels, Hobby Lobby or just about any craft store.

+1. I like the functionality of the zip ties, but they don't have any aesthetics at all.

we use what we like. i just like the fact that mine cost $2 for a near lifetime supply. the cheapness was the main point.
