I normally have Fridays off, but with The Masters starting today and the Mrs. in Vegas on a business trip I decided to make it a four day weekend.
As I sit here in the middle of the day wondering if its to early to crack a brew I just put on two racks of BB and a couple of Maui Onion sausages.
Sitting in the sun watching my WSM come up to temp I notice tiny bits of smoke coming from under the lid seam, a tiny bit around the door and some out of the BBQ Guru eyelets I just installed.
Now I have probably 20 or so cooks under my belt and never really thought much of the smoke thinking it was pretty normal. With the two new eyelets should I be concerned about the added airflow? Probably nothing, but thought I would check since I've never really had issues with temp control.
Ahh can't wait for those bad boys to be done, possibly follow it up with a nice Cuban cigar I picked up on vacation and a huge Zin, it should be a quality day.
