A handy tip worth repeating

I say repeating because I'd be surprised if it hasn't been mentioned here before.

The charcoal ring from an 18" WSM makes a great spacer for indirect grilling in a 22" kettle when a skillet or similar round pan is used. I have a batch of cornbread cooking in an 11" pan right now and the ring has the coals placed perfectly around the perimeter.

Um...I am glad you repeated! I have not heard of this tip. I cook cast iron corn bread all the time, but it the oven. Thanks for posting.
