a few questions about 22.5

So im thinking about investing in a 22.5 my question is when you add the charcoal how long are you able to maintain the temp. I smoke most of my meats at 225 how long would i be able to maintain this temp? Do you ever half to add charcoal to the smoker during the cook?
 
You'd only have to add charcoal for very long cooks, like over 12 hours.

Until you have a few cooks under your belt, start will a full ring and you'll rarely have to add any.
