A corn bread twist.

Everybody has their cornbread recipe...for a twist try this:

After heating the cast iron skillet with oil in a hot oven, pull it and add 2 slices of onion minced. Back in the oven for about 2 minutes.
Remove from oven, poor hot oil and onions into batter, mix then add batter to skillet and bake.

The ONION adds yum !
P.S. I don't do sweet cornbread.
