It should fit a 2 or a 2000 as well. I don't think there is any difference in the frames?

Nope. Add it to a 2/2000 and it becomes a 3/3000

I wasn’t sure whether the usage on this one also included some of the early Genesis “C” models.
If I still had (or even hoped to have) a long frame Genny I would have been all over it…..
