6 hour cook

I'm wanting to try Barbie's Beans under Baby Backs tomorrow.

The beans recipe calls for a 6 hour cook @ 250 - 275, while the baby backs are usually done in 4 - 5 hours.

Obviously, I can do the math...start the beans 1 1/2 hour or so before putting on the ribs. Just wondering if anyone has a "perfect" technique they might be willing to share.

Well, since everything in this recipe is already cooked - it's essentially an amalgamation of processed ingredients - except for the bell pepper, onion and bacon, which don't take much time themselves, you could do it in less than an hour, 2 hours, 4, 5 hours, whatever you wish.

Thanks Kevin,
I'm pretty much a "go by the recipe" guy, but that makes perfect sense.
Just finished 'amalgamating' the beans, and if they taste as good cooked as they do uncooked, it's gonna be "MONEY".
I had everything except the chili pepper, so I used chili powder. Don't want them hot.
Photos tomorrow.
