Yeah, I broke out the calculator when I was cruising through Niman and other places. Seems terribly expensive for pork Q. After the smoke and the cooking time, I would believe there would be *some* difference ... just not a $5/lb difference from other sources.

I'd like to hear from anybody that has first-hand experience on this.

Wow!

Does the butt cook itself for that price???? Too expensive for me!

Let's see... 7 pounds serves 12-14. After-cooking weight should be about 3.5 pounds, so I guess it better be really good, because everyone is only going to get one sandwich... excuse me... sammich with about 4 ounces of meat on it.

I get mine with the bone for $0.89 per pound. Nothing could taste $5.00 more per pound better!

Their meat is really something special. While I havent broke down and purchased a shoulder I have had some of their beef and it was exceptional.

They are focused on the whole picture in sustainable farming from birth to butcher.

Earlier this year I was able to arrange a discount for TVWBB members.

I know therir products are expensive but their quality is exceptional.

I'm still hoping to hear form someone who has tried their pork shoulder though.
