4-line LCD issue with HM?

I tried my first smoke today where I pulled out my thermocouple connection and just hooked a food probe into my HM jack. The LCD is showning a "1" in front of the temperature making it look really HOT. Any idea what's up with this? Pics below:

Lol, its the name you gave the probe. Maybe someone could chime in and see if there is a script you could enter, that would change the temperature tab to give it one space between the name and temps

LOL... I didn't even notice that! *sigh

I just went in and deleted the space between "Probe #" and made it "Probe#". Good enough for now. Maybe the label field should be limited so as to not butt up against the readout?

Are the last 4 characters of the LCD ever utilized? Or was the design limited to ~17-18 characters from another LCD limitation?

The limit is 16 characters because 2 line displays are 2x16. Internally HeaterMeter only allocates 12 bytes for probe name storage so although it would be nice to change allow 16 for 4 line users, it would mean changing the EEPROM config block and adding more code to the display routine which I am not wholly keen on.
