I'm applying the barrel jack "white wire mod". I removed the barrel jack and scored the ground plane connections. I then tested the continuity between that hole and other points labeled GND. There was no continuity as expected.
However, I reinstalled the barrel jack and for kicks measured the continuity the same way. At this point, all GND connections showed continuity to the scored hole/barrel jack leg. I did not yet install the white connection wire.
Is this expected and OK, or did I do something wrong?
