found a 2000 green otp in hesston ks where my bro in law lives. they picked it up for me tonight and said its in very good shape. looks like a road trip is on for friday. might just have to test it up there.

yep, the least you could do is grill up something for the bil. congrats on the "new" kettle. course red cooks better.

had to let the grill cool down and take it apart to fit in the trunk. but it survived the journey.

Great score...I see you put the cast iron grate on...how do you like the grate? I need to buy but other purchases had to come first.

i havent used the grate yet. mine didnt come with seasoning instructions and we got it right before we left for kansas. im sure it wont be long tho.

thanks steve. now i need a blue kettle.i didnt know the size until i got there. the cl post didnt say and didnt have an actual pic posted just one off a web site. i was almost hoping it was an 18 because i lucked into a performer a while back but i was very happy to find this.
