I recently passed my 25th anniversary at work and as I was checking out the reward catalog the Weber 22.5 OTS was a gift selection. Can I buy the ash catcher for this grill? Does it snap in or bolted ?

It's possible. I converted my silver to gold a while back. Typically you'll see they are out of stock on most websites. These guys have them for $27

I ordered mine from them but it took forever to get it. The holder just snaps into place, but you have to be careful doing it.

Totally doable. It just snaps in place.

I recently upgraded my OTS by adding an ash catcher and thermometer. Thinking about adding a lid bale next.
